Christopher K.P. Brown will be featuring at the Spit Dat open mic in Washington, D.C. On Thursday, September 2. The event will take place 8:30 to 11:30PM at the Emergence Community Arts Collective (733 Euclid Street NW, Washington, DC, near Banneker High School and Howard University School of Business). We are currently working to re-release POETRY: a hip hop album for the 3-year anniversary of the album on September 7th, 2010. The album was recently mastered, giving it a sound quality rarely heard in spoken word poetry. Prepare for the celebration and release by listening to a few of the tracks from POETRY: a hip hop album.

 

POETRY: a hip hop album has sold almost 400 copies since its release, making it the highest selling poetry album of Christopher K.P. Brown's career.
