Jewel "Jameelah" Lloyd has been writing poetry and short stories since the age of twelve. She has been performing at various poetry/spoken word venues since the early 1980's; in the PA, DE, NJ, NY area. Jewel has appeared on local radio stations in PA and DE and her works have been published in several local poetry magazines, including "Dreamstreets" and "Damali". "Of Butterflies and Tears" is her first published book of poetry.
