Quest is the first poetry release from Robin Nesbitt. This book of poems serves as a tour guide into the experiences and moments of Robin’s life over the years. Born on April 29, 1981 in Charleston, SC (hometown Walterboro, SC), Robin always had a passion for poetry. She discovered her love of the art in the eighth grade when she was seriously introduced to poetry and wrote her first poem. From then on, her pen could not contain enough ink.

After graduating from Walterboro High School in 1999, Robin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Newberry College. While at Newberry, Robin continued to write poetry and expanded her knowledge of many poetic styles. In the mist of it all, Robin fell in love with the poetry of the distinguished poet, activist and author Nikki Giovanni. Because she was always shy, Robin kept her poetry to herself and it remained a hidden talent.

After graduating from college in 2003, Robin moved back home to Walterboro where she continued to write for several years, but later went on a writing hiatus to pursue a career in environmental health. During this hiatus, Robin received a Masters of Public Health in 2008 from A.T. Still University.

Reunited with poetry, Robin has stepped out on faith and made her dream a reality. Quest is Robin exploring her creative prowess and taking it to a new height. It is her hope that many different people from many different walks of life will discover her work and each person will be motivated and inspired by the poetry presented in her first poetry release Quest.
